Questions about our Handmade Jewellery

On this FAQ page, we aim to answer any questions you may have about our handmade jewellery and the services we offer. Please don't hesitate to reach out to us if you have any further queries.

  • Do I need to wash the hair I'm sending you?

    No, I wash and prepare all hair I need to use.

  • Will you return any unused hair or ashes?

    Yes, all unused will be returned with your finished jewellery.

  • Do you send me something to collect the ashes or hair in?

    No, in an attempt to do my bit for the environment I ask my customers to supply no more than 1 teaspoon of hair or ashes for any resin jewellery. This will be enough to make at least three pieces. Pop the ashes or hair in a sealable plastic bag or tub, then wrap in bubble wrap or card and send to the address provided.

  • Where do I post the hair or ashes to?

    AdriennesAshes, 2 Wychwood Farm House, Wychwood Lane, Shermanbury, West Sussex, RH13 8HE.

  • Can I drop off the hair or ashes and collect my order?

    Yes, please arrange a suitable time to do this by calling or texting me on 07833 503708.

  • How long will it take to make my jewellery?

    I normally suggest up to 10 days from receiving the hair or ashes to being ready to post back to the customer. In busy times this may be slightly longer but I will keep you informed.

  • How do I know if my package has arrived?

    If you provide a mobile contact number you will receive a text to advise you when your package arrives.

  • Do you let me know when you post my finished jewellery?

    Yes, if you provide a mobile number you will receive a text to let you know when we are posting. We will also add this to the Royal Mail site which provides text updates to the customer to show progress of their package once it arrives with Royal Mail.

  • How do I know you won't get my ashes or hair mixed up with anyone else's?

    The greatest care is taken with each order. All received packages are labelled and packaged in sealable bags to ensure they do not get mixed up with anyone else's.

  • Do you provide a Certificate of Authentication?

    Yes we do, if you send us a picture the person or animal the ashes or hair belonged to along with a name we will add this to the certificate.
